The Real Reasons To Drop Weight Rapidly

People who have tried to lose weight and failed are in a particularly negative loop. This failure sits in their minds and they fear a repeat of the expereince. Once you can get someone really motivated to lose weight, the rest is much easier.

As someone who helps people to get to their target weight I am delighted when someone asks me how to lose 10 pounds in a week or how to lose a pound a day. It makes my task easier. I can move on to the next step. I just have to make it more urgent in their minds and this urgency can sustain them until they see results. When the resulst and rewards become a reality in as little as a few days, their motivation will be fueled. Effort with visible rewards is the greatest motivator by far.

It is far easier to drop weight fast than to do so over a long period. To lose weight fast you have to change habits and that is much easier done decisively than gradually. If you can anticipate results, visible results, in the near future it makes every effort easier. A distant goal is vague and not real in people's minds.

Ill informed warnings against fast weight loss are seriously misguided. I don't know of anybody who has come to harm by fast weight loss. Starvation diets lacking in essential nutrition does the harm, so that needs to avoided.

The following are some must do's for fast weight loss:

  • See every step towards your objective in a positive light. It is a reward for yourself you are working on.
  • Make your target as important as being on time for a job interview. You will not stop, even for a toilet break if you might miss such an important task.
  • Make sure to drink enough water and get enough sleep.
  • Take some vitamin supplements.
  • Choose a diet that is aggressive but well balanced.
  • Keep the image of your target uppermost in your mind all the time.



So, forget about slow methodical diet methods. Be decisive. Start. Losing weight can change your life totally within a few weeks!
